Preparation

Bring water, food and some rain protection since you never know in spring.

Please keep and eye on this page and/or get in touch with the organizers info@rationality-freiburg.de in case there are sudden changes, in particular due to extreme weather conditions or problems with public transport. Note that light rain will not deter us 😉

What will we do?

We will hike from the camping site Muggenbrunn to Feldberg. That’s about 13.6 km (8.5 mi) with 650 m (2100 ft) ascent and 420 m (1400 ft) descent. See more details here: https://www.outdooractive.com/de/r/280012943

We will meet at 09:25 am at the main entrance (right next to the bakery Beckesepp) of the Freiburg train station in order to take the following connection:

• S 10

  • To Villingen(Schwarzw)
  • Departure at 09:40 Freiburg(Breisgau) Hbf, Platform 7
  • Arrival at 09:52 Kirchzarten, Platform 1

• Bus 7215

  • To Bus Station, Todtnau
  • Departure at 09:58 Kirchzarten Station
  • Arrival at 10:31 Muggenbrunn Säge, Todtnau

From Feldberg we will return to Freiburg with public transport.
